The Carrossier ProColor network, a member of CSN Collision Centres, the largest network of collision repair facilities in Canada, is proud to announce that Carrossier ProColor Laval Centre has been certified by the Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP) since February 2018.
Since 2014, Nancy Lefebvre and her team began the process of purchasing equipment with the intention of acquiring future certifications: “It’s a long process; you must take the time to do the necessary research in order to buy the right equipment,” says Nancy Lefebvre, owner of Carrossier ProColor Laval Centre.
Although certifications bring many advantages for a collision repair shop, for Carrossier ProColor Laval Centre, the CCIAP certification represents the advantage of adequately repairing all vehicle makes: “This certification is not just for one brand; we can correctly repair all vehicle makes on the market,” says Ms. Lefebvre.
This certification, which must be renewed each year, requires certain measures to maintain it: “We will continue to invest in new equipment. Moreover, we will also continue to invest in training to refresh notions already acquired or to confirm certain data,” says Lefebvre.
To comply with the requirements of the CCIAP, certain investments were to be expected and Carrossier ProColor Laval Centre knew how to benefit from this: “The biggest impact was made following the acquisition of new equipment. I would have bought some equipment well before they were recommended since they make our work a lot easier. This process gives the advantage of having invested intelligently to make it beneficial and profitable,” says Nancy Lefebvre.
Since the CCIAP certification is one of Carrossier ProColor 2017 objectives, the collision repair center who achieved the certification brings the network closer to its most important goal, according to Sylvain Dufault, General Manager of the Carrossier ProColor network: “We are very proud of the workshops that are CCIAP certified because we want to achieve our main goal of having a trained and certified network. ”
In conclusion, Nancy Lefebvre strongly recommends the CCIAP certification to the other collision repair shops in the network: “Yes, I recommend it to stay up to date with the latest information. However, you must be perseverant and fully committed”.Carrossier ProColor

Regarding the CCIAP
The essential function of the Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP) is to certify collision repair facilities against a set of industry standards taken from leading vehicle manufacturers and/or other participating stakeholders.
